Manchester Pride is appealing for festival-goers to contribute their memories and mementoes for a unique exhibition at this year's event.
Celebrating 'My First Pride', the event will document over 18 years worth of 'first timers' and will be held at Urbis!
The exhibition will highlight the effect Pride has had on people's lives and display the many memories they have made. People are urged to submit dated photos, words (no more than 150), wristbands, flyers, posters etc from their first Pride experience.
Maybe you are 18 yourself and this is your first Pride - what are you expecting?

Thank you, thank you to all of those who attended the Charity Night last Sunday, and all of those who couldn't but donated anyway...
It was a fantastic night, Geek Girl played 2 awesome sets, DJ Golden was superb and those of us who were brave enough to shave their hair off (thanks to rosanne, jill, sarah and merry) did sterling work raising even more money and mags the chicken worked wonders with her bucket!
The total we raised was a whopping £3070.62, plus of course gift aid which can be claimed for the online donations, and gift aid that will be claimed directly by the charities from Hm Revenue and customs.
THEREFORE THE TOTAL RAISED £3896.36 !
From myself and fi, we cannot thank everyone enough. It was a pretty emotional night for both of us, and we both know our mum's would have been proud.
I know there were a lot of people there that night that have been affected by cancer in their lives, and this was for all your loved ones too.
We hope after the success of this night to be able to do this again sometime, so watch this space. Thank you, thank you, thank you. xxx
